Know Before You Go

We are so excited to see you next week at The CrisisCon23 Conference! Below is some important information to help you prepare for the conference.

Attached is the full agenda and it will be provided on-site in our program as well as the CrisisCon23 App.

Check-In: 4:00pm

Check-Out: 11:00am


Registration:

Monday, November 13 from 12:00pm-5:30pm & Tuesday, November 14 at 7:00am-11:00am located in the Conference Foyer just outside the Symphony Ballroom. You can stop by to pick up your name badge, conference bag, program, and CE paperwork.


Exhibit Booths:

Be sure to visit our sponsor exhibit tables in the Conference Foyer located just outside the Symphony Ballroom, Tuesday through Thursday.


Welcome Reception & Awards Dinner:

Join us Monday, November 13 from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm in the Conference Foyer for our welcome reception, followed by dinner and awards from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm. Full meal and live music will be provided. A cash bar will be available.

 

Transportation Information:

There is NOT a hotel shuttle from the airport, so we encourage you to take a taxi or rideshare. If you are driving, self-parking is available at $25/day, and valet parking is available at $35/day.


Attire:

Business casual is recommended.

Social Media - #CrisisCon23

We highly encourage the use of social media during #CrisisCon23 to spread the awesome messages of our members and presenters. If you're a presenter, we want to make you aware that your smiling face could end up on Facebook, X, Instagram, or anywhere else our inspiring sessions are being shared. If you have any concerns about sensitive data, research, or possibly confidential details of your session being shared, please make sure to alert your audience beforehand.


CEs:

15 continued education credits will be available through the National Association of Social Workers. You will receive a form at registration to complete throughout the conference. PLEASE NOTE: you must turn that form into registration before the end of the conference. 

 

Promise Resource NetworkTour: 

For those who purchased a tour ticket, we will be assigning you departure groups and times. Please be in the lobby 5 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. A separate email with additional information and times will be provided.


Duty of Care:

Please know that with COVID and the flu present, we are doing everything we can to keep you safe. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available upon request. If you are feeling unwell at the conference, please stay in your room and let our event coordinator, Alanna (616-262-8585) know if you would like us to arrange for a COVID test to be delivered to your room. This information will remain confidential.
